Experience
I teach Spanish to students with every level of experience and education. I studied Portuguese and Spanish at Brigham Young University where I received my Spanish Bachelor of Arts and minored in the Portuguese language. I have been evaluated as "advanced high" which is almost native. I don't have an American accent in either language (my Portuguese is Brazilian). I have taught college age students through a learning bureau, and I have been a substitute teacher in Spanish. I have previously had the pleasure of living in the Dominican Republic. As a teacher, my first priority is to help the student master the concepts, and given the peculiarities of language, that process can be very hard. I find by introducing the reason for the concept I can help my pupil better understand how to use it. I am also an attorney and I attended Washburn University.I can teach your student Spanish at all levels, including Advanced Placement Spanish Language and Advanced Placement Spanish Literature and Culture. I am also able to tutor in Constitutional Law.When I'm not teaching and studying I enjoy playing the guitar, all kinds of music, playing golf, riding my bike, skiing, traveling, and studying other languages.
